Who is ArmsonAE?
Armson AE – Armson Automotive Engineering – was originally just me, Stuart Armson. I ran a mobile service for three years but now have a substantial and well equipped workshop on an industrial estate in Syston, a village just outside Leicester. I am in my 6th year of business in Syston and surviving the worst recession we have ever known. Money is tight, people want quality, they want a fair price, they don’t want problems after their pride and joy has been worked on. They need someone to trust.
Investment has been substantial over the last 6 years and it would not have been possible (we would not survive) without you the customer. The service you receive determines whether you will use us again or recommend us to your friends and colleagues. We are here to help keep your car on the road or, perhaps in the case of Land Rovers ‘off road’.
We use the latest diagnostic equipment and this is updated on a regular basis to keep us ahead of the average garage, but we are not your average garage.
Now a slight change…….. We are traditionally known as the garage dedicated to poorly Land Rovers or a poorly Rover V8, but we are committed to fixing all types and makes of cars. Give us the opportunity to service your vehicle, we will not let you down.
My original “Who is ArmsonAE?” was written a long time ago and introduced me as a person. I was providing a mobile service and visiting customers in their own homes. I did not want people to think that I was a complete stranger coming to fix their car. Many of these customers are still in contact but most now bring their car to my garage to be worked on or we collect the cars from them. Customers become friends.
People like to know exactly how and what is being done to their pride and joy so I can either carry out the work with you watching me or assisting if you want to get dirty (the dirt is free – quantity depends on the job). You are welcome to supply the parts yourself or I can supply them for you.
We pride ourselves on quality and genuinely care, it is more than just a business! The quality of the parts, oils and service provided really matters. We are straight talking and very honest. We are not the cheapest but we do offer good value, and that is reflected in the level of service you receive, from first contact to driving away with the work completed.
Many years ago I was advised by a very wise mechanic:
“Oil is the cheapest safeguard to long engine life, don’t change it and it will cost you dearly in the long run!”
